Sendmail

Hi,

I have a real simple e-mail environment. A DEC machine running Digital UNIX 3.2d.
All was working fine. Because my connection to the internet is sporadic. I placed the
OI entry in my sendmail.cf file and sure enough when my connection was down the mail
sent by my users was queued if destined for the internet.

I upgraded to Digital UNIX V4.0 and now mail is not queued it is returned to the user
because the DNS lookup fails when the internet is down. It is functioning as thought
the 'OI' option had not been specified. I guess DU v4.0 is running a different version
of sendmail ?

Does any one have any solutions to this. I don't care what the solution is (maybe I am
doing this the wrong way). All I require is for mail to be queued if the DNS lookup fails
becuase the internet connection is down.

cheers jason.
