Hello all --
I have a problem between our VAX (VMS 5.4-2) and our Alpha (du 4.0).
On the Alpha we have DECnet 4.0 running in phase IV mode. This is to allow
a shared directory between the two machines. When a file is created on the
VAX onto the Alpha the file permissions are set to 644; is there a way to
have the files created with 666 permissions?
The directory permissions and the parent directory permissions dont seem to
matter.
