tacacs Xtacacs+ on D.U.3.2x?

I am currently trying to get tacacs running on an alpha,
was finally able to get the code to compile but it still
does not work, the alpha can't decipher the packets from
the router.

Q. Does anyone have either tacacs or xtacacs running on
an alpha running 3.2x ?
