Hi,
Lately, one of my Alpha 1000 (DU 3.2D) started to hung up almost every other
day. It does response to the ping command. It was not able to serve any
NFS client request. I believe that the system hung up while trying to serve
a NFS request. I was trying to restart the
NFS by running /sbin/rc3.d/nfs stop. The system was not able to stop the mountd
process. The only way to fix the problem is to reboot.
Could any one suggest something for me to do?
