I'm trying to set the lpc command with the Set-user-ID or set-group-ID
permission bit enabled so that my non-privleged users can control the
printer queues. As you can see,
-r-sr-sr-x 1 root bin 65536 May 19 20:29 lpc
I have the set-user bit set for both owner and group. I've tried, just
owner, just group, and both, and I cannot come up with a combination that
will allow my users to run lpc and NOT get a :
lpc stop sctchk
?Privileged command
error. I am running enhanced security, if that has anything to do with it.
Any ideas what I've done wrong?
Thanks,
Barry Treahy
