Dear Managers,
i have a strange problem with advfs:
there are some data on a 9 GByte Seagate Disk (ST410800N) which is mounted under
advfs.
Everything seems okay, but some files getting corrupt - some 0000 are included/
appended on this files. We can only check it by testing them with the Original
files which are on CD.
The uerf doesn't tell me anything. The last entry is from 21-aug - it was the
reboot of this machine.
The disklabel looks good:

For the DEC people and me it's a strange problem.
Does anyone have this disks in use?

There is a theory which states that if ever anyone
discovers exactly what the Universe is for and why it is
here. It will instantly disappear and be replaced by
something even more bizarre and inexplicable.
There is another theory which states
that this has already happened.
