Q: Is Ping patch stable yet?

Hi all.

Has anyone successfully installed the ping patch yet? The last thing I
heard was from someone who had problems with the install (couldn't
reboot the kernel or something....?)

I'm interested in installs done under 3.2C & 3.2D.
