Hi,
Using Exceed version 5.0 for Windows 3.1 with Digital UNIX 4.0, when I
select a server from the XDMCP Display Manger Console, I get the login
screen. After entering username and password, it goes into the blue
"Starting the Common Desktop Environment" window and it takes almost 5
minutes before I get a terminal window( this window does not have any
windowing manager support - Motif). That is all I get, I do not get the
standard CDE workspace enviroment window.
If I choose the Dxsession interface in the same machine during the login
process, everything works fine, and I get all the windows. The problem seems
to be only with CDE.
If I connect to a HP9000 running on HP/UX 10.01 also using CDE, there is not
problem, I get all the windows and interfaces for CDE.
The problem here seems to be only with Digital UNIX 4.0 using CDE.
Am, I missing any additional configurations that needs to be done to get
this working properly. Any response will be much appreciated.
