Hi,
My small problem has now turned into a big problem. I have an Alpha 1000
with OSF/1 V3.2D-1 (Rev. 41). I have three RZ28M's that came with my
machine.(See target 1,2,3)
Oct 18 04:01:59 oracle vmunix: scsi0 at psiop0 slot 0
Oct 18 04:01:59 oracle vmunix: rz0 at scsi0 bus 0 target 0 lun 0 (DEC
RZ28M (C) DEC 0568)
Oct 18 04:01:59 oracle vmunix: rz1 at scsi0 bus 0 target 1 lun 0 (DEC
RZ28M (C) DEC 0568)
Oct 18 04:01:59 oracle vmunix: rz2 at scsi0 bus 0 target 2 lun 0 (DEC
RZ28M (C) DEC 0568)
Oct 18 04:01:59 oracle vmunix: rz3 at scsi0 bus 0 target 3 lun 0 (DEC
RZ28M (C) DEC 0568)
Oct 18 04:01:59 oracle vmunix: rz4 at scsi0 bus 0 target 4 lun 0 (DEC
RRD45 (C) DEC 1645)
Oct 18 04:01:59 oracle vmunix: tz5 at scsi0 bus 0 target 5 lun 0 (DEC
TLZ07 (C)DEC 553A)
These three drives are one volume formated with the ADVFS. This volume is
used as a news spool. I have been getting error in my mesages file like the
one below every 10 minutes or so:
Nov 4 18:08:48 oracle vmunix: io/vol.c(volerror): Uncorrectable read
error on volume vol02, plex vol02-01, block 8471776advfs I/O
error: setId 0x32472499.0001e0.1.8001 tag 0x0006aee3.8002u page 35
Nov 4 18:08:48 oracle vmunix: vd 1 blk 8471776 blkCnt 16
Nov 4 18:08:48 oracle vmunix: read error = 5
I now get no room left on volume. If I do a "df" it shows only 65% used.
How do I run something like "fsck" to repair the volume?
Thanks for any help.
