Hi all:
We are soon going to be replacing some of our DECstations with
Alphastations running OSF, and I have a few questions about disks and
NFS:
1) How easy is it to move a disk from a DECstation to an
Alphastation? I assume one has to back up all the day and do a low
level format, then disklabel and newfs... Is this correct?
2) When mounting an NFS partition from the Alpha onto the
DECstation, what is the largest allowable partition? That is, can
Ultrix deal with NFS partitions > 2Gb?
