scsi interconnections

That was the best I could come up with for a subject to describe this. I am
not a hardware expert. I understand most of it. I am trying to answer some
questions about SCSI and cannot find good information. This seems to be a
good place to find good info. I need to know about attaching slow and fast
scsi devices to the same scsi bus. I know that the slow devices can have a
total length of about 4-6 meters if I remember correctly. The fast devices
are limited to a bus length of 3 meters or so. If I keep the bus length to
3 meters or less, will the fast devices speak fast on the bus? Or will
everything fall to the lowest common denominator and all will run slow?
Where would I find such information documented also? Thanks.
