Hi everybody,
This time, the list was faster then I'd ever expect it. After only 20
minutes I got the first reply.
Here is my original question:

The answer is YES: The "Number 9 9FX Vision 330" is sold by DEC under
the name PowerStorm 3D10.

Thanks everybody and I hope that I didn't forget someone.
Mr. Lampert also sent me the detailled specs which I think could be
interesting for others as well.
So here they go:

Tom,
Yes. The Powerstorm 3D10 is a....
The PowerStorm 3D10 appears to be a marketing name for the S3 Trio64 (2MB)
Graphics Option. This card is referenced in the PowerStorm marketing literature
as the low-end graphics controller in the PowerStorm Series. Although, the
order number referenced in the literature found to date references the PB2GA-JA
S3 Trio64 2MB PCI Graphics Controller.
PB2GA-JA S3 Trio

Available Documentation:
9FX Vision 330 (PCI) Graphics option - Owern's Guide
Part Number: EK-V330G-OG.
Comments:
Single PCI Slot Short Form Factor.
Supports several resolutions and refresh rates configured by the
Operating System Xserver parameters. (See Operating System Comments)
This card is not supported in Multihead configurations with other S3Trio64
or ATIMach64 graphics cards under OpenVMS or Digital Unix for the following
reason.(Reference ALPHASTATION Note #1453.0)
The S3Trio64 card is a warmed over ISA design by S3. It's operation
requires the use of a number of VGA space registers (the cursor
for instance) and it has no inherent ability to enable/disable the
card from responding to those addresses (aside from PCI config space
enable/disable). What this essentially means is that a vanilla
S3 TRio64 card (which is what Diamond and #9 sell) cannot be used for
general multi-head.
It is expected that this card in combination with a ZLXP-En or PowerStorm card
will work, but this has yet to be qualified by Workstation Engineering (July
1996).
