1280x1024 with ATI Mach 64 under DUNIX 4.0

Hi everybody!

We have Alpha stations (200 4/100) with ATI Mach 64 graphic cards.
Under DUNIX 3.2 we could run the X server with a resolution
of 1280x1024 pixels with one crash a week, while it fails under 4.0
constantly - at least all 2 hours :-(
With 1024x768 X is running without problems.

Any idea/experience ?
