Uh-oh ... Desipte my comments of just a short while ago ...
>> I managed to answer my own question: The FreePort Express stuff
>> lives at http://www.novalink.com/freeport-express [ ... ]
... it turns out that I spoke too soon. Although the FPX web pages
are in fact there, attempts to download the software fail, since the
URLs for downloading are
ftp://freeport.novalink.com/pub/*, which is
where I was originally trying to grab the stuff from. (Yes, I *know*
my original posting said ...
>> Today I had
>> a look on ftp.novalink.com, and found /pub (where it used to
>> live) was empty.
... but I'd actually been looking in freeport.novalink.com (which is
where I was *supposed* to have been looking); sorry for *that bit of
typo-induced confusion!)
So now, to retract my retraction of my original article, I'm back to
square one: Where *is* FPX being kept now?
