Hello,
I've had installed Digital Unix 4.0 on a DEC Station which has got a PMAG-DA
graphic card. The sustem was running, but the graphic card isn't supported by
Digital UNIX or Open3D.
So, I 've installed an older version of Digital UNIX in which
the card is supported (Digital Unix 3.2C). And I have an other problem: the
system is loaded, but when the system is booting, there is a panic message ,
the system is dumped and then is halted. Here is the message:
> trap: invalid memory write access from kernel mode
> faulting virtual adress: Ox ffffff80000910000
> pc of faulting instruction:Oxffffffc00004d128
> ra contents at time of fault:Oxffffffff00005813ec
> sp contents at time of fault: Oxffffffff87d7f020
> PANIC (cpu-0): kernel memory fault
I don't think it is a hardware error. Could you help me ???
Thanks....
