The recent flurry of Majordomo messages posted to list was due to
people sending malformed subscribe commands. Instead of the usual:
subscribe alpha-osf-managers
or subscribe alpha-osf-managers me_at_my.host
They sent commands like:
subscribe alpha-osf-managers me_at_my.host alpha-osf-managers
Causing Majordomo to send the confirmation request and welcome message
to the list.
In the future, DON'T post about such problems to the list, it only
compounds the problem. Instead, contact me directly.
