I'm getting quite a few of the following from uerf:

++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++
----- EVENT INFORMATION -----

EVENT CLASS ERROR EVENT
OS EVENT TYPE 199. CAM SCSI
SEQUENCE NUMBER 11.
OPERATING SYSTEM DEC OSF/1
OCCURRED/LOGGED ON Wed Dec 4 09:42:18 1996
OCCURRED ON SYSTEM alpha
SYSTEM ID x00060011
SYSTYPE x00000000

----- UNIT INFORMATION -----

CLASS x0022 DEC SIM
SUBSYSTEM x0000 DISK
BUS # x0001
                              x0048 LUN x0
                                        TARGET x1
+++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++++

Routine is usually a series of ss_perform_timeout, followed by a
psiop_hardintr, bus reset detected.

These 'sets' of errors seem to occur at random intervals, sometimes with
days in between. Errors are entirely confined to the the external SCSI
bus. The machines affected are both Alpha 1000's running under 3.2C, with
from 2 to 6 external drives chained off of them. Any ideas as to cause?
