SUMMARY: SCSI bus errors...

My original inquiry was to possible causes for intermittent SCSI errors,
type 199, on external chains re: two Alpha 1000's. The concensus was

1. Mixes of slow/fast units.
2. Bad connections.
3. Over chain length.

I've already ruled out the first two, and suspected the third. I'm
getting out my tape measure ;). Thanks guys.
