hi all
thank's for the quick answers
here are the solutions :
There is a utility called vmsbackup to do this. Earlier URLs for this
software are now invalid - the following is part of a set of FreeBSD
ports - it may or may not work on other UNIX systems.
http://www.ee.freebsd.org/ports/emulators.html#vmsbackup-3.0
A commercial product from Boston Business Computing provides a number of
VMS emulation/interoperability tools for DEC UNIX, including the MAIL
reader, VCL (like DCL) and VMS BACKUP/RESTORE. For a time these were
provided free by Digital with OSF/1 3.2 - you might look through your old
CDs. In case you need more info from the company:

Use vcl and then backup. VCL is part of freeware and emulates DCL.
