Hello eveyone!
I've been searching the archives for an answer, all I found was questions
but no summaries!
Anyway, we have 2 Alphasever 2100's running C2 security and approximately
1000 users. We wish to have user's log in to both both machines with like
accounts. I want to have it so that users have the same password on both
machines, hence NIS is where I want to go.
My question is pretty general and is directed at the people running NIS and
C2, especially if you've started NIS on a system already running C2.
What kinds of problems should I expect?
Is it worth the trouble?
Do things change in my current C2 setup? (i.e. can I still have similar
password
policies and account expirations?)
Any information would be helpful.
I will summarize...
Thanks,
Karl
