A client had a major disk crash on their DEC 3000 and now I am trying to
reinstall innd. I have an AS200, running 3.2c. The 3000 is also
running 3.2c. I tar'd up my innd stuff from the AS200 and transferred
it to the 3000. I modified all the necessary files(I think) and ran
news.daily and makehistory.
When I start using /sbin/init.d/innd I get innwatch but no innd. When I
try running innd from the command line, it just drops me to a prompt. I
tried using -u and -f and but nothing. No messages show up in the
syslog and no core file appears. Nothing happens at all.
I followed the few hints in the FAQ about what to do when innd doesn't
start, but nothing.
Can anyone help me out here?
