Dear colleagues,
My simple question(s) is:
1. What are ways to figure performance of named on DU3.2c? My situation
is that it seems that DNS seems to be erratic on our system. What
happens is that some sites that are widely visited or well know seem to
come up with an error of not being in the DNS system. Then when that
same site is immediately accessed once again, there is no error and
getting there is fine. (I and our users are using Netscape on the lan
and dialup.) Is it our named, our DNS, our could our secondaries be
causing this problem. I know this is somewhat vague and I can elaborate
more.
2. How do I figure our what version of named I am using? What version
is supported by Digital Tech support.
