NSR troubles - Please HELP

I'm running NSR on several Alphas running DU, the server is
a DU system. I have been running these for nearly a year
without any problems.

Tonight I'm trying to add a Solaris client. I've installed
the software on the Sun. Now when I try to add the client
to the server I get the following message:

server notice: Can't access <client> due to network
problem, missing client nsrexecd or incorrect /.rhosts file

I know there isn't a network problem, I've got several NFS
filesystems mounted between the two. When I check the
process status nsrexecd shows up with the correct server.
The .rhosts file appears to have the correct systems listed.

Any ideas?

TIA!!
