Apache Web Server on DU4.0B Stopping

Hello all,

I am currently having a problem with our Apache web server.

For a period of time, they will stop serving out documents, SIGHUP'ing
will fix it straight away, or it will eventually come back by itself.

It is currently unclear as to weather the connection is being accepted, or
simply left in limbo.

If anyone has seen this, or can give me some pointers, please do.
