how does one setup "tip" or "cu" to use a LAT modem.

We currently have (2) modems hooked up to a terminal server for incoming
connections, aside from an AB switch to switch the modem to TTY00 or 01
and then use straight "tip"/"cu" to use /dev/tty00 or 01, how would I go
about
setting "tip" or "cu" to use LAT to a SERVER/PORT address instead of a
ttyxx address?

incoming calls are not a problem, we want to be able to do outgoing.

We have DU 3.2c, Alpha 2100 & Decserver 700's along with Hayes
compatible modems.

Thanx
