The majority of responses was to use mailsetup/bindsetup, however since
we are not using DNS as well as the mail system was working fine the
way is was, I didn't want to chance reconfiguring it with the setup and
now
have it stop working. I was mostly looking for where in the configuration
files the ".my.domain" as located so I could change it manually (more fun
than way). Since we are NOT hooked to the internet, just to an intranet
changing the domain name would be of no consequence to the rest of the
world, but at least now the users won't just blow away the mail thinking
it is junk mail (from alpha.my.domain - sounds kinda trollish).
Apparently all that was needed was to change:
/var/adm/sendmail/sendmail.cf and change the "my.domain" to whatever
I needed it to say....Worked perfect. Thanx to Richard Sharpe.

Original Post:
We are running DU3.2c on an alpha system. If I send email out to our
intranet it says the mail is from user_at_alpha.my.domain. How do I change
the "alpha.my.domain" to something a little more descriptive?
Thanx
