I am planning to upgrade (installupdate) one of the servers to Digital
UNIX 4.0B. This AlphaServer (4100 5/400) is currently running 3.2F.

     My Question:

What is the best path? Should I setld -l to 3.2G or this is a waste of
time? --I have 3.2G CDs, but no documentation.

     Should I go directly to 4.0B? ( or 4.0 .. 4.0B)?

Possible pitfalls to keep in mind?

I am sure this question was raised many times in the past (when I was
in OpenVMS world) but new ideas and experiences are never enough and
     this list has plenty.

     Thanks,
     Ronny
