SUMMARY - DU4.0b & GCC-2.7.2.1 problems

I received 3 responses, thank you! Unfortunately, none of them helped
solve my problem. I did try compiling 2.7.2 and 2.7.2.2, and got the
same results as I did with 2.7.2.1. I went so far as to have a friend
tar up his gcc-lib and binaries and send them to me (his was working
fine) and I *still* got these error messages.

After a bit of research, I figured out that files that just #include
<string.h> work fine, but files that conditionally #include <string.h>
(using ifdefs and the like) have problems. However, this doesn't
seem to affect the compiled programs, and they work fine.

So, I have written it off to the quirkiness of DU4.0b on my machines. :)
