Gurus,
we have a DEC 3000/300 with DEC unix 3.2c
the machine is used exclusively for email
most use Pine we have 3.95
I am forced to rm older files in /tmp to keep from maxing out.
a cron job to remove files in -atime +1 will not make it.
How can I direct users tmp files to /usr/tmp or /var/tmp
to free up the root?
DEC support today said "don't let anyone use pine"
"buy more memory"
"remove manually daily"
The pine conf doesn't have an option to point to directory for tmp tasks
Please
This is driving me crazy
this is with files deleted since 10:00 this morning
