Blurred window

Dear magangers,

Sometimes, after logout the login window becomes cloudy.

After then, I can not recover the clear window.

The only solution I know is rebooting.

Any suggestions ?

The machine is Alphastation 600 5/333. OSF 3.2G and

the display adapter is PBXGB-AA PCI (Powerstorm 3D/30 ? ).

The resolution of display we use is 1280x1024.
