question regarding lsm

hi there,

        I have a question regarding the use of lsm. we currently share disks
        between systems using nfs and I am in process of getting some new disks
        of 9GB and instead of creating several 2G partation, I was wondering
        if I could use LSM to create a large virtual partition and share it via
        nfs?. can it be done or does it just work for the local access.

PS: systems are dec alpha and os is DUNIX 3.2c.
