Gurus,
DEC 3000/300 DUNIX 3.2C
pop3d
Our old accounts have no problem with pop mail password authentication
since install of DUNIX 3.2c from 2.0 all new accounts are getting entries
in the /tcb/files/auth directory.
I was physically removing files there named after the new account logins.
Is this All right?
what permissions should I give new users?(is this causing it?
right now they are set to
UID_MAX=60000
LOCKFILE=/etc/ptmp
SKEL=/usr/skel
DEFPARENT=/usr/users
DEFSHELL=/usr/bin/csh
DEFGROUP=users
HOMEMODES=0700
PARENTMODES=0755
DEFPASSMAXLIFE=60
DEFPASSMINLIFE=0
Am I supposed to have entries for all users in the /tcb/files/auth
directory?
I hope I haven't messed things up big time!
Thanks in advance
RKJ
