Hello again... (catching up on summaries here)

Thanks go out to the following for their timely replies:

Alex_Nord_at_jabil.com
Larry Griffith <larry_at_garfield.wsc.mass.edu>
"Alan Rollow - Dr. File System's Home for Wayward Inodes."
     <alan_at_nabeth.cxo.dec.com>

The question was as to whether or not backing up from a cloned read-only
filesystem affects file access times. Doing find by access times has long
been useless because dump programs change the access times of the files
they back up.

The answer is: backing up from a clone file set preserves the access times
of the original.

Way cool!!!

Karl
