OSF Managers -
I have a TZ875, TZ885, TZ877, and TZ887. When issuing an "mt offline"
command in Unix the tape drive rewinds and ejects the tape. Then, if
there is another tape in the next magazine slot the tape drive
automatically loads that next tape. However, on my new TZ887 this does
not happen. The first tape rewinds and ejects, then the elevator returns
to the bottom of the stacker. DEC is about as helpful as they always are,
that is why I am looking for alternate help. Let me know any of you have
had the same problem with any of your devices.
