Write-back cache on KZPSC 3-Port RAID controller

Hello everyone,

Write-back cache has been enabled on the KZPSC 3-Port PCI Backplane RAID
controller (obviously with battery backup and so on). However, the unix
binary error log still reports in the startup messages that the write
back cache is disabled. I have heard that Unix binary error log does not
support the reporting of this correctly!? Is this true? Even though it
works.

System Config:
DEC 8200 was running 3.2D-1 now upgraded to 3.2G.

Any feedback or advice would be welcome.
