2 Can you put a dump and vdump on the same tape

help.
1 No there is no exclude feature but vdump does not cross over to other
mount points in root so that a vdump of / will not try to back up the
news on /data1. Jim Wasden said that Polycentre tools DO allow excludes
in network backups which will be worth exploring.
2 Yes, it is just data but use no rewind option.
