Hello Managers,
My original question was :
------------
After switching to qpopper2.2 some users complained that they couldn't log
into pop server. The server responded "The password supplied is
incorrect". This problem exists for some users, the majority has no
problem. We are using NIS and NFS, no C2 security. Passwords are no longer
than 6 characters.
-----------
Thanks to the following people who responded to my question:
Stephane Bortzmeyer <bortzmeyer_at_pasteur.fr>
Richard Rogers <R.M.Rogers_at_staffs.ac.uk>
Robert Benites <benites_at_tryon.cs.unca.edu>

Greg Merrell <greg_at_netuser.com>
Felix Ortigosa Martinez <fel_om_at_cgic.ucol.mx>
"Jacobo Pirez Lajo (adm)" <jacobo_at_gbien.tel.uva.es>
They sugessted several things but the solution came from
Robert Benites <benites_at_tryon.cs.unca.edu> and
Felix Ortigosa Martinez <fel_om_at_cgic.ucol.mx>
The answer was simple:
-----------
In the makefile, remove -DAUTH flag. (Since we do not use C2 security)
-----------
Thanks again.
