SUMMARY: 100Mb NICs

Thanks to the group. I have located a source, and should have my boards
tomorrow morning. Several people gave me potential sources, but it seems
these boards are in tight supply. A couple people suggested replacements,
but they appear to be untested, and (unfotunately?) I will not be testing
them either since I found boards. Replacement suggestions listed below.

I've heard that any board with the TULIP chip works. You might try
Kingston (www.kingston.com).

LinkSys makes a Tulip chip based 10/100 that looks just like a DE500 to my
Win95 system. I've never tried in in the Alpha.

DE500-XA is your best bet. DEC uses this card in their PCs too, so it
should be readily available. It should be available in almost any PC store
selling DEC PCs.
