I get similar crashes all the time (4.0a, though) and someone (name escapes
me, was on this list) suggested me to do raise the stacksize limit (limit
stacksize unlimited if you use (t)csh), but it didn't help me. I did one
interesting observation. A couple of users run the same netscape on the same
machine but set the display to a machine running X11R5 (rather than X11R6). If
they use my wrapper (essentially the same as Digital's wrapper) they get the
same kind of crashes, but if they don't, but run netscape "raw", netscape
still works (because the problem is an incompatibility with X11R6 which they
didn't use anyway) -- and it doesn't crash.

happended. So I'll try to put stacksize to unlimited (in fact 32768 kbytes).
