PARTIAL SUMMARY: Connecting large amounts of disk storage

I posted earlier expressing my displeasure with the multiple SCSI method
of connecting drives. It has a lot of problems, especially when trying to
create a fault tolerant environment.

Jari Tavi from Digital pointed me towards Fibre Channel and GENROCO cards.

If you work in a large computing environment, it is worth reading about
Fibre Channel. Digital are releasing Fibre Channel products 1997/1998 so
it isn't a strange orphan technology.

I don't have enough information to post a proper summary as yet.

More later.
