Hello,
We have a problem with connecting a KZPSA-BB adapter to our secondary
PCI-slots on a Alpha 1000/A. At the system startup we get the error:
" *Probing PCI-to-PCI BRIDGE BUS 2
*Unable to assing PCI Base address bus 2, slot 2 function 0
SIZE 00001000 (16 BIT i/o )
bus 2 slot 0 pka Qlogic ISP120
bus 2 slot 2 pkb DEC KZPSA"
If we put the adapter in one of the primary slots everything is ok.
I know there have been some restrictions on the firmware revision of
the KZPSA adapter, I found in a readme file :
> A KZPSA-BB Fast Wide Differential SCSI controller must be installed in one

This does not solve our problem because the firmware revision level of the
module is A10. We are running DU v3.2G on a AlphaServer 1000A 4/266
Firmware revision: 4.6 , PALcode: OSF version 1.45 .
