Hi!
My original question was:
We would like to open an anoymous ftp under DU 4.0a using wu-ftpd 2.4.2
beta 11. I already openend the account and copied the /etc/passwd,
/etc/group and the /etc/sia/* files to the ftp-path and the /bin/ls.
Users can log into the anonymous ftp server but they cannot list the
files using "dir" or "ls -l". It won't show any files.
The same happens when I do a "chroot /home/ftp /bin/ls".
What other files are needed in order to get the daemon run?
Thanks for the quick answers from Bob Sloane and Knut Hellebo.
The solution is to use the /sbin/ls instaed of the /bin/ls.
