Well thank you all. I'd mention names but since I receieved over fifty
responses. I'll save the bandwith and just give a summary.
1) Many said rtfm. Well I don't have a fm.
2) Others said do a ./MAKEDEV rmt except I didn't have the rmt* files
3) Some said it looked like I had to rebuild the kernel (yuck)
4) BUT, a few said. do a ./MAKEDEV tzN where N is the standard
SCSIbus+deviceID
That worked. Now I have my *rmt* files.
