I am about to give up on my current Tape Drive vendor.
Any recommendations of tape drive libraries that can back up a Terabyte
of Oracle databases in a reasonable amount of time?
We have and AS 8400, AS 8200, 2x 2100's and are about to get some
4100's. Total space will be close to 2 terabytes, with about 50% used.
All systems run DEC Unix 3.2g.
I am looking at DEC's TL812 (4 TZ88's racked with a robotic library)
I have also heard some iffy things about Exabyte Mamouth series.
Any and all opinions welcome.
