I have a problem of setting up the local printer to DEC Alpha 3000-300
which runs under OSF/1 v3.0.
Following is the "printcap" file at present and I find that the device
"tty00" is not found in the /dev directory and it cannot be created by the
command "./MAKEDEV tty00."

I tried another device "tty01", which is present
in the /dev directory, however, there was no printout made on the printer.
