Hello Managers,

I'm trying to compile gnu tar on Digital Unix to be able to use Archive
Backup System on OpenVMS with a Unix client.

Fisrt there was a problem with lib/fnmatch.h, but this one is resolved.
Now the make all ends with :

"No suffix list.
making all in po
Make: Don't know how to make de.cat. Stop.
*** Exit 1
Stop.
#

Has somebody resolved this problem ? Or this part is useless perharps ?

Thanks,

Daniel
