How to print in condensed form from DU

Hello,
I need to print in condensed form to a printer Epson FX-1170 connected to a
remote pc with lpd server from my Alphaserver 8400. Actually i am printing
to this printer but in normal form. The printer is setting in condensed but
i dont know the procedure for send the escape sequence from my Dec Unix 3.2g
I need a detailed procedure for this.
