Patch problem osf350-294

        Hi Gurus !

 Last day i get a patch from www.service.digital.com called osf350-294
This patch should fixes problem with system panic caused by a WIN 95 &
WIN NT sytem sending an illegal length ping (ICMP) packet.
After installation I try to rebuild kernel and I recived message:

object file format in: uipc_socket.o : bad file magic number

Any Idea ???
I use OSF v. 3.2c
