Problem with terminal settings: The story continues...

Hello,

This is a follow up of a message I sent a few days
ago. My original question was :

I have two Digital workstations, the first running Digital
UNIX V4.0B the second running Digital UNIX V3.2. When I try
to rlogin from the first machine to the second I get the
following message :

Never heard of terminal type "dtterm".
Terminal type (default=vt100)?

- CUT - CUT - CUT - CUT - CUT -CUT - CUT - CUT - CUT - CUT -

I was told that I had to look for a file called dtterm.ti (I
found it on the machine running Digital V4.0B) and
that I had to compile this file with tic. I have done this and
the result is that vi and pine work fine now. The problem
is that I still get the above message when logging in.
The dtterm terminal info should now be available in the
/etc/termcap file as well as in the /usr/lib/terminfo directory.
How do I get rid of the above message at login?

Thanks to Lee Hughes <lhughes_at_anitesystems.co.uk> for
showing me how to put the dtterm terminal info
in the terminfo directory.

Thanks in advance,
Bart.
