Hi,everybody:
Thanks for the reply from Carlos Kassab. He gave such message:
>Just Modify your named.boot
>add these lines:
>primary your.domain hosts.other
>primary ip.in-addr
>create hosts.other from your other file from the other domain.
Following is my original question:
I have a AlphaServer 1000 4/266 as the name server of my comany, and
I run a domain in the sever, now I have registered a new domain
successfully,I also want to use the old domain name, that means I want to
use two domains in one server simultaneously.
Does Digital UNIX 4.0 BIND support that?
Thanks for any reply.
Now I can have two domains in one AlphaServer. Thanks very much.
But I also have one problem, the server mentioned above is the mail
server and web server of my company ,I can nslookup the server with two
different domain name, one is aaa.szptt.net.cn,the other is aaa.co.cn.
But the mail sent to user_at_aaa.szptt.net.cn can ber received, and the mail
sent to user_at_aaa.co.cn but can not be received.
During the procedure of setting up the mail system,I must specify
the mail domain, by default I used the domain of
szptt.net.cn, but I have not found anywhere that I can setup two
different mail domains,I think this may be the reason that the mail sent
to aaa.co.cn can not be received. Does any one have such experience?
Any response will be welcome.
regards,
Chi Hai
